The Doctoral Thesis entitled “Auditory-vestibular alterations in patients with otitis media: clinical and histopathological study” by Dr. Rafael da Costa Monsanto, PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology), supervised by Profa. Dr. Norma de Oliveira Penido and co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Michael Mauro Paparella, wins the CAPES Award for Thesis 2021, in the area of MEDICINE III.

The work will also compete for the CAPES Thesis Grand Prize, which will be awarded the best thesis selected among the winners of the CAPES Thesis Prize, grouped into three groups of major areas. The result of this final will come out in December/2021.
