Library and Digital Journals
The Antônio Rubino de Azevedo Library occupies 1.350 m2 at the Rua Botucatu, 862, Sao Paulo campus of the Universidade Federal de São Paulo.
The Library has been constantly adapting itself to the transformations associated with the access to information and aims to democratize, gather, conserve, preserve and disseminate the scientific production performed at the UNIFESP, in any informational media.
Its physical collection, consisting of more than 23,000 copies, is available Monday through Friday from 7 am to 9 am for consultation and loan. Virtual databases, such as the Capes Journals Portal, UuToDate, BV UNIFESP, and Digital Library of Thesis and Dissertations, complement the available collection for professors, researchers, students and technicians from UNIFESP.
The collection consultation is public and available online 365 days a year.
The services provided by the Antônio Rubino de Azevedo Library also include:
1. Loan / return to the internal community;
2. Interlibrary loan;
3. Bibliographic review carried out in several sources of information in the health area;
4. Orientation to formatting normalization following the Vancouver and ABNT guidelines;
5. Orientation for manuscript submission in national and international journals;
6. Guidance on the use of bibliographic managers EndNote and EndNote Basic, Orientation for the Lattes platform;
7. Guidance for completing Google's Research ID and My Citation;
8. Preparation of a cataloging card for internal community;
9. Bibliographic change for internal community;
10. Training of users through virtual events and courses for the internal and external community;
11. Inclusive room with two computers connected to the Internet and specific accessories for the visually impaired for the internal and external community,
12. Study Rooms with 15 computers connected to the Internet for internal and external community;
13. Guided visits to the internal community;
14. WIFI connectivity for internal and external community.
