Master's Degree

The Master Course of the Graduate Program in Otorhinolaryngology of the Escola Paulista de Medicina aims to deepen professional knowledge, promote scientific competence, improve teaching and enable the development of the ability to perform research in Otorhinolaryngology, Cranial Base and Surgery Of Head and Neck.

To obtain the Master's Degree, in a minimum period of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months, the student must:

1. Obtain thirty (30) credits that can be attributed by the tutor or CEPG because of their participation in courses, scientific meetings, didactic-professional activities or assistance;

2. Compulsory subjects of the Program and compulsory classes for all post-graduates;

3. Periodically discuss the progress of the research in a scientific meeting designated by CEPG, with the mandatory presence of the supervisor and, if there is one, the 2nd-supervidor;

4. Preset the thesis within the standards established by the Course and to demonstrate its capacity both in the systematization of knowledge and in the use of methods and techniques of scientific and technological research;

5. Article referring to the thesis, forwarding it for publication in an indexed journal.

The defense of master's thesis, even with the obtaining of all credits, does not exempt students from the activities assigned to them until the end of the semester period (January to June and July to December).
