Claudia Barcelos de Moura Abreu is a Ph.D. (1998) in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and a Master (1993) in Education from the Federal University of São Carlos. Conducted postdoctoral studies at the University of California / Berkeley in 2016. She holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Uberlândia, completed in 1987. Associate professor in the Department of Education at the Federal University of São Paulo and professor in the Graduate Program in Education at the same institution. She is linked to the Education, State, Labor Research Line and leader of the Research Group ''Subjects, spaces and practices in the field of youth and adult education”. She develops research in the areas of Education and Work, Youth and Adult Education, International Studies on teaching work, and Labor and professional activities within the Prison System Penitentiaries.
