Renata Marcílio Cândido graduated in Pedagogy from the University of São Paulo in 2003, she is a Master in Education (2007), and Ph.D. in Education (2012) from the same university. She serves as deputy leader of the “Group of Historical Studies and Research on School and Teaching (GEPHED)” and collaborator researcher on the project “The ethos of the selective school in a historical perspective (1930-1960)”, funded by FAPESP (2017-2019 ). She is part of the Research Group "History of Education: Intellectuals, Institutions, Printouts" (Unifesp). She has been a member of the editorial board of Olh@res Magazine - Unifesp since 2015. He has experience in the area of Education, with an emphasis on the History of Education and Specific Topics in Education, working mainly on the following themes: the history of education, school culture, teaching journals, evaluation, school parties, school life practices.
