Ear infection is the subject of research awarded by CAPES - Rafael da Costa Monsanto - Doctoral Student of the Graduate Program in Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology) / UNIFESP

 

Assess the presence and degree of hearing loss, as well as dizziness and vertigo in patients with acute or chronic ear infections. This was the objective of the project by Rafael da Costa Monsanto, otorhinolaryngologist, winner of the CAPES Thesis 2021 Award, for the area of Medicine III, with the Doctoral Thesis entitled “Auditory-vestibular alterations in patients with otitis media: clinical and histopathological study ”.

Rafael was a Doctoral student at the Graduate Program in Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology) / UNIFESP, supervised by Profa. Dr. Norma de Oliveira Penido and co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Michael Mauro Paparella.
