Magali Aparecida Silvestre is a pedagogue, Ph.D. (2008) and Master (1997) in Education: Educational Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. In the undergraduate course (Pedagogy) she is responsible for the discipline Planning and Educational Evaluation and preceptor of the Pedagogical Residency Program - elementary education. Researcher in the field of Teacher Education, in the graduate program in Education she works in the research line “Public School, Teacher Training and Pedagogical Practices”. Research themes: initial training of teachers in elementary and higher education; teaching professional identity; Curricular stage; professional insertion in highly vulnerable territories; teaching initiation programs. She was coordinator of the GT8-Teacher Training at Anped (management 2016-2017) and vice-coordinator (management 2017-2019). Academic Director of the School of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences, Unifesp, Guarulhos campus - management 2017-2021.
