Research in this area involves studies aimed at understanding the molecular and neurobiological mechanisms of behaviors in healthy and pathological conditions. The impact of stressful events in humans and animals subjects are also of interest as well as therapeutic interventions for these conditions. Behavioral changes and their molecular mechanisms in models of genetic diseases are also investigated.
