The Graduate Program in Psychobiology has received financial support from the agency that regulates graduate programs in Brazil ( CAPES ) due to its academic excellence ( PROEX ). Furthermore, support from the non-profit organization AFIP has been essential to the Program, especially in relation to the provision of infrastructure in terms of physical space and human resources. Additionally, the majority of the Program’s supervisors receive funding from other supporting agencies in Brazil, mostly from FAPESP and CNPq .
