UNIFESP’s Graduate Program in Sustainability Science and Technology contains a single area of concentration, termed Science for Sustainability, which aims to promote interdisciplinary research through 3 research areas:

1)Development and Applications of Sustainable Materials

2) Molecular Sciences: Focused on the development of bioactive molecules, biomedical optics, and biosensors.

3) Environmental and Energy Control

Each research line is interdisciplinary, encompassing major fields of Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, and Analytical) as well as related areas such as Biochemistry, Biophysics, Pharmacy, and Chemical Engineering.
